How to contribute
Omm is a decentralised, open-source project. Learn what you can do to help push it forwards.
The most effective form of marketing is word of mouth marketing. People are more likely to listen to their peers than to the official channels, so the number one thing you can do to help Omm is to talk about it.
You might want to talk about Omm on:
- Reddit
- Twitter
- YouTube
- Telegram or Discord channels
As well as offline with your family and friends.
HX57 runs a content bounty program to incentivise the ICON community to create high-quality content. There are sometimes prompts for Omm, which you can get paid to participate in.
You’re welcome to create content about Omm at any time, even without a specific prompt. Tag @ommfinance on Twitter to get it retweeted.
People look for social proof on review sites to convince them to try something. If you’ve enjoyed your experience with Omm, you could leave a review on Dapp.com or State of the Dapps.
If you find a bug you'd like to fix, you're welcome to file an issue or submit a pull request on GitHub for one of the Omm contributors to review. If you'd like to be more heavily involved, join the Omm Discord and talk to the other contributors.
The Omm community can leverage Omm’s DAO fund to pay for projects that enhance Omm, attract a larger user base, or leverage Omm’s functionality in new ways. If you have an idea that you think would benefit Omm, start a discussion on the forum.
